I have no idea how I haven't read this earlier, but I'm glad Joanne reminded me! What a cool story in true Lola-fashion...I loved every word and every emotion, all the half-smiles and frustrations, all leading to the sweetest ending. Good story

So glad they are finally together!

It's been over a year since you wrote this and many years since I began the twilight journey. A few nights ago my youngest daughter said "Mom lets watch all the twilight movies". WIth popcorn and munchies in hand we settled in for the saga. A few days later I was cleaning out my cluttered gmail and say the update for this story...instantly remembering your name and the story Summer of Salt. I looked at the date again, smiled and said I haven't read a great story for a while (and I read a lot) of everything... So I made myself comfy and read the chapters and when I was done I sighed. I miss this. The great writers and love we all held for twilight no matter what the curious outsiders said after the movies came out. Thanks for writing this and making me smile. It's almost like a private club. The mania has subsided like I knew it would. The writings have ceased or slowed down to a trickle. I know I have made many friendships thru out all this and I just wanted to say your awesome and for what it's worth for everything thank-you. All the time and sweat you put into these stories show how much we understand all the love the books gave us, the things the movies just could not. As we move forward I won't forget these stories..I wanted you to know that. Especially with the fifty shades crap. Your a great writer, and I'm glad you shared this. Alice and Jasper Emmett and Rose Bella and Edward Esme and Carlisle what a great forever it was. Take care...now I am off to read Summer of Salt again. I hope these stay on line for ever. I'd buy them if I could. Your awesome.
