I like how close to the character the are in your stories.
Also, it's refreshing to see D'artagnan not just dismissing his injuries and tell what's wrong or how he really feels. In almost all stories he just hides them no matter how many they are or how serious or in what situation. I get why he might do it sometimes but not all the time

I like it. Wish there would have been a scene like that at the end of the episode, it's so well written.

There is no need to be patient with you, because this fic is very well done and a fitting addition to 1x02.
There are several epis in the show which leave me kind of kind of concerned how the characters might be dealing with the aftermath and your scenario gives a thoughtful look on what could have been
after 1x02.
It felt realistic to me and also I think you stayed true to the characters. Loved Constances reaction, the way she tries to hide her obvious concern and D Artagnans "She is married". It seems he needs this as a mantra to remind himself.
Although this story leads us to the early stages of the show and the bond between the four men, you worked out very well their growing relation to D Artagnan and how he is fitting into the group.

Awwww Cute! I like the realism about how shaken up D'Artagnan was after all of that. D'Artagnan comes across as the spirited but smaller and younger member in the literature and the films and it's nice to see that carried over.

That was really good.

A good angsty fic and I enjoyed it very much. Nice to see the men rally to assist to one of their injured friends and Constance is a whirling devil when her anger is raised. Thanks for writing and even more for sharing.

Oh I love it. Protective siblings make me smile. I always think of the older Musketeers as D'Artagnan's older brothers.
