I wanna read this as an actual story

This was an interesting read. The story was fun. But I most enjoyed watching the threads come together to build a story. Fun twist.

Perfect or no, accidental or no, it's actually quite fascinating how the relationship entirely depends on Rachel: the way Santana and Dani never talk to each other, and when Santana talks to Rachel she's all "we" she's fine with sharing Rachel, but when Dani talks to Rachel it's very much "I" as though she wants Rachel to herself. Or the fact Dani and Santana are only sexually interested in each other if Rachel is in between them. It's like a stream of consciousness which does make it real and raw, if it were to be polished then the genuine "lopsided" nature of the trio would be lost.

I'm intrigued over how the breakup and counselling will effect their dynamic. Rachel was upset at how she was perceived by the outside world, while Dani and Santana now make sure that Rachel knows she is their number one, she is still seen in public as the bestfriend. Dani felt like Rachel abandoned her, does she worry that Rachel will leave again? Santana told Dani that she knows she only stayed because she was waiting for Rachel to come home, that she wants Rachel only.

It does make you wonder how Dani and Santana got together in the first place considering how completely necessary Rachel is for their relationship to work and how little passion or anything they have for each other. Unless it was a they were both lonely kind of thing

You can definately see that it's likely they'll be conflict between Dani and Santana as Rachel is the centre they both revolve around like rival suitors, so there's got to be some underlying jealousy and resentments between them. From what we've seen so far the Dantana relationship would have fizzled since they are about the Rachel of it all and not really into each other (she brings out their sexual energy), and without her they probably would of tapered off into friendship.

Dani had so little screen-time they didn't really establish a personality (which is a shame but it's Glee), I guess you could say she was sane, amongst Rachel, Kurt and Santana's crazy she was pretty easy going and maybe a little bemused by it all?

It's an interesting head-canon and has been a fun read. And it is a thing with stories of three-way relationships that they most always focus on one of the three characters. Maybe that is natural human inclination, that one person demands all the attention, and with jealousy and insecurities and egos this leads to conflicts, which aren't so obvious in a couple since there isn't the competitive aspect, so you three-sided relationship is more likely to fall apart

It makes me sorta sad that people have pushed you to a place where you feel it necessary to explain yourself like that. It's fan fic for fucks sake! It's YOUR piece to do with what you want. To hell with anyone else - if they have an issue with it, move right along to the next one. I don't get who people think they have any right to give writers a hard time about that sort of thing. Granted, I know as an artist myself, of course I want to make everyone happy with everything I create. There's validation in that, absolutely. I'd probably go all crazy "here's why you should totally still love me" too if I was you. It just galls me that you even feel the need. I personally am starting to really enjoy this whole thing (was skeptical at first) and it seems like you guys are finding your groove with it now. Fuck the haters and do what makes you happy. You're both incredibly talented, so even if you piss off a few readers with the head canon, you'll gain 'em right back elsewhere. You could write tech manuals and I'd probably still find them enthralling. Well... Ok, maybe not. But ya never know! ;-)

At the beginning of the chapter it was said that it was Santana's night but really the night was all about Rachel. The fic doesn't come across as a polyamorous relationship, it's more like Rachel has a multi-dexterous girlfriend called Dantana. Dani and Santana aren't being portrayed as individuals but rather a hybrid who exists only to accommodate and please Rachel
