Omg.i..i think this...has broken my heart quicker than any other fic I have read, even though it is a one .

Just some minor edits:

"Please," she pleads, curling her fingers in his hair as he smatters kisses down her abdomen, the inside of her thigh. "Please stay with me."

His teeth nip lovingly at the fragile skin on the inside of her wrist, eyes sparkling.

"Okay"

"Castle, why did you knock?" She asks, stepping aside to let him in, heart fluttering wildly in her chest.

"I forgot my key," he says, joyous time, entering through the open doorway.

He instantly wraps her in a warming embrace. Kate returns the gesture, longing for this to never end.

"I don't understand. What are you trying to say?"

His eyes drop from her shoulder to the floor, something final about his next words that burn her from the inside.

"I love you, Kate."

But you know, this story was pretty damn amazing. Gosh, the feels. I couldn't handle the emotions. So, I pretended this is how it ended
