goodness, that's pretty awesome. I was holding my breath through most of it, and I felt much sympathy for Marianna. Though I do not agree with all your portrayal of her - I see her thoughts differently in some cases - you've carried it all off masterfully.
It's an excellent story; well done.
Cinda Williams Chima is writing another four books in this series to be set in the next generation. Isn't it exciting? I assume you know this already. Spring 2016, we're waiting!

I loved this! I always believed that Marianna was a good person before she became the queen of fashion (why else would Averill and Edon love her?). It was nice how you wrote the ending of this one-shot, and sad...My theory of her 'ignorant' personality is maybe the lack of choices she had (much like what Raisa struggles with throughout the series).
Once again, great job! It's awesome to see some Chima lovers on . :)

That was wonderful. I love the way you portrayed Marianna. She seemed so shallow in the books. That was fantastic. It was awesome the way she seemed so at peace when she died.
