So I know its an alternate version to what happened in the ep but thats absolutely fine with me as you hadn't watched the ep yet. I thought your version was great too :). I totally agree that Simmons would definitely have this effect on people.
I absolutely LOVED the ep. It was hands down my favorite ep so far. The only part I didn't like was the part at the end when we find that May is keeping tabs on Coulson, possibly to Colonel Fury? Its possible of course that Fury asked May to keep an eye of concern on Coulson but Coulson won't be too happy when he finds out and as a shipper, I don't look forward to that day at all. What did you think about this?
Lady Sif was super. Loved her and hope she comes back to visit again soon. Also fantastic fight scenes. Also, the other bits like May and Ward finally ending things was good although it did seem that May was affected by this more than I thought she would be. But that might be not because Ward tried to kill her under Lorelei's spell but because Ward never told her he had feelings for someone else on his team right?
Who is Heimdall? The gatekeeper in the Thor movies? I watched and loved the 2nd Thor movie in the cinema but of course it was already in English so it didn't come with subtitles so I missed even Lady Sif's name in my 1st watch. Of course I will buy the Thor 2 dvd when it comes out and rewatch.

The way you wrote the actions scenes was great. And the science was even greater.

I adore that moment where Jemma was reporting to Coulson the damage May sustained, Jemma downplaying it while May approves and Coulson glares. It reminded me of your other fic where May said Jemma's her favourite :D

I like how it was Fitz who brought Ward down with the night night gun (which they are now calling I.C.E.R.S. in the show). I also love how Fitz is immune to Sif because of antihistamines. As a person prone to allergies, I can so relate to Fitz's defensiveness on his condition. And Fitz as a medic who hates blood. Basically I just love Fitz and how you wrote him (also is that a hint of FitzSkye? Or am I over reading things?)

I LMAO at Skye's "Three of us already have alien or alien-based crap in us, What can one more hurt?" XD

The May-Coulson moments were well-written. Again, I would have to admit that I don't ship them, but your way of writing them made them possible for me.

That moment when Jemma and Coulson were ready to die for each other. Because they totally would. Even if Coulson is sometimes a jerk to Jemma in the actual show. (And I love how Coulson tried to smile encouragingly at her only to realise that she can't see in the dark. Lol)

AND THE WARDxSIMMONS. OMG. YOU HIT ME RIGHT IN THE FEELS. This is my favourite part: '"She's pure of heart, Phil." May's voice was soft. "Even this year Jemma's been on the bus, even as she gets more field experience, her heart is big, forgiving. She still pities the super-soldiers. She has compassion for the firefighters. You have no idea how attractive that is to a man like Ward. "Lorelei gave him what he thought he wanted. Jemma showed him what he needs." May smiled quietly. "And that's why she succeeded."'
