Wow! What to say? Okay so,, this is great fic. Love it! Love every nuance and interaction. It really makes you wonder how much would have change in canon if these two dads had a closer relationship than shown. Every chapter is great and captivating, thank you for sharing!

Well, I sort of hoped for someone ingenious to write the 100th review. As it is, I guess I will do.
I really like the relationship between Samayako and her son. I wonder why Dai is not going to end up with her. Ha, maybe she is interested in Tsunade or something.
Why on Earth Dai would feel as if they needed saving? They are the sweethest duo.
People in this fanfiction are pretty lonely, so far. Of course it is perfecty understanable, but I wonder if Sakumo will perhaps gain friends after Third War, with is coming only in a few years. Maybe after that he will become Hokage. Still, they won't be like Dai, but could make a little mess.
It's a great story, so far. I'm really interested.

I don't know where to begin with this at all. There is so much I love about you and this story it's crazy.
I've read the entire story within a couple of days and whilst it's a shame it's not finished I will gladly reread what a marvellous gem it is so far.
The story mechanics are superb. The pacing, flow, length, tone, etc. it feels highly professional.

The characters are delightful.
You've worked with very little canon material and yet absolutely excelled with bringing out the personalities and raw emotions of these highly unique characters.

Themes of: rank distinction, failure, depression, father-son relationships, coming of age, are all rather serious yet shine in a story that feels happy and uplifting at the same time.

I think everyone everywhere has at some point wished they could see the world the way that Dai does... and you've done such a good job providing that.

I love your usage of metaphor, oh god! I'm a slut for figurative language. Plus you're not overly cliche. You obviously put a lot of thought into your work and that is VERY clear on the readers end. (I really hope you know that!)

Anyway, just wanted to thank you! Remind you that you are awesome... and now I'll just go back to trying to figure out who I love more:
