Reviews for Minorities Report
katbybee chapter 1 . 2/6
Ohhhhh, this is beautiful. My daughter is a Messianic Jew. I am sending this to her. Thank you. Shalom.

I don't know if you still read your reviews, but I really like this story. I had favorited an old Chocolat story of yours, reread it today, saw your profile, and read that you're Jewish! I am too! I love that you wanted to write more about Jewish characters in their respective fandom. We need more of that! Whether you're still writing, I just hope you read this and know you have a Jewish fan out there who appreciates what you do.

This was a good insight on the aftermath of Independence Day. You stuck well to the characters, none of them were terribly OOC at all. It was interesting to see Steve's response to the congratulations, it fits his humble character very well. I enjoyed reading this little one shot and it almost gave me closure for that movie (I just watched it about twos this ago for the first time). Good job! :)
Clio1792 chapter 1 . 1/20/2016
Nice capture of the characters here...Julius's characterization and the conclusion bring back a particularly good line in the movie, where Julius tells David that he stopped talking to God after his wife died.

The Crown Heights riots were a real tragedy in New York history, with the terrible loss, if memory serves, of an innocent child.

Good creative concept in this piece.

Interesting...
Lamia of the Dark chapter 1 . 10/14/2015
This was an interesting follow-up to the film. It was nice to see some bonding between these characters after things had settled down somewhat.

I really liked the way you wrote their dialogue. It felt so in-character, I could practically hear the actor's voices in my head while I was reading it.

The part at the end with the president came out of nowhere, but at the same time it seems realistic to how conversations end in real life... I'm sure Steve and Julius could have continued their discussion from there, or meandered on to a different topic, if they hadn't been interrupted that way.
Guest chapter 1 . 1/21/2015
Very impressive story.
