Why can I imagine Clint stabing Tony with a snickers and yelling "HAVE A SNICKERS, YOU'RE NOT YOURSELF WHEN YOUR HUNGRY" then yeeting himself out of the base.

I am going to assume that during the slip-n-slide scene, you meant Coulson. Well, assume/ VERY MUCH HOPE, because Sitwell is a jerk, and I was very happy when he *ahem* left S.H.I.E.L.D. I was very happy with that scene...
Other than that, good job, I'm loving this story.
P.S. If you actually meant Sitwell, I don't plan to stop reading, I'll just picture many happy endings for him. :)

Pretty good story

Finished at half-past eleven. Very good, quite enjoyable. Your writing of Clint as he goes through his initial de-aging and then as he re-ages again shows a deep understanding of his character, and not only his but of the others as well. I'd love to know what happened to the "scientists" that were never killed when Clint and Tony escaped. I'd love to hear that the WSC has been taken down at least a few notches or good interactions between Clint and Barney, showing Barney not just an ignorant hick either. Just too bad he couldn't be a good man. Thanks for this story! Keep writing!

Really liking how Clint wants to keep Tony from harm. Also, while the evil scientists are focussing on Tony, Clint could be beginning to come out of the de-aging thing . . . just a thought. We'll see. Next chapter, then.
