So I just finished Infinite and Burial at Sea, and suffice to say it shattered my heart into approximately a million and two pieces. Thank you for fixing it so I can breathe again. You're a lifesaver.

I love it! One thing I don't get though; how did Elizabeth get to a different timeline from her second and final death? The first death by Big Daddy sent her to a sort of Limbo Paris between timelines created by her mind, but she chose to come back and save Sally. But after her death saving Sally, how did she get to this Real Paris and meet Booker and her younger self? Is she a ghost only Booker and Anna can see? Is she immortal?

I think this is the most perfect ending that I could have imagined for this story. Booker's "I made a promise," line had this 6"6' man crying. Thank you.

Yes please. So much better than that other crap ending to that stupid DLC I've chosen to ignore. You'd think people would have learnt their lesson about unnecessarily killing protagonists after Mass Effect 3. Regardless, thank you for giving us an alternative I can agree with.

Man this was beautiful, reading this immediately after finishing Burial at sea while listening to La vie en rose. I like the original ending, because of how tragically poetic it is. But they deserved to meet again, it's nice this way too...

This was the greatest ending I think they're could ever be for Burial at Sea. I was very much disappointed by Elizabeth's end, but this left me feeling better about how it ended.

Wow. Incredible! I started sobbing at Elizabeth's and Booker's reunion. This is a definite must read for Bioshock fans out there! Truly Amazing! 10/10

While I will not deny that this is an amazing short story to encompass such an amazing game (and game series). However I do feel Irrational Games ended the game the proper way according to the unofficial rules of tragic heroes from J.R.R Tolkien and Shakespeare. While I thoroughly believe that the hero should never live happily ever after, I must say this does give me the feel good feelings the game didn't give me.
