This fic showed me something to never do right in the first chapter.

Don't portray your characters as assholes in the first chapter, or there will be consequences of alienating the audience.

Emma really shouldn't have talked like that to Jean, furthermore she had no reason to. It was borderline abusive which shouldn't have happened in a relationship where both parties claim to be madly in love.

tl;dr OOC is serious business

I love this story...this is hands down my favorite X-Men fan fiction of all time...and it's in my top 5 greatest fanfic of all time.. I can't count how many times I have read it...I cant wait for the updates

I have enjoyed the saga, even if there are aspects of it that I find troubling or annoying.
Look, I am a straight guy, who nevertheless enjoys reading femslash stories involving favorite characters. What I don't get is how many of the femslash stories seem determined to portray most of any major male characters as jealous, incompetent, evil or the enemies; even at best, the male must be emasculated and take a subsidiary role in the relationship.
In this story, for example, Logan's nascent relationship with Ororo is interfered with, drawing her into a relationship with Emma and Jean, while he is left alone. At best, all he might have had was rare time with Ororo before she went back to her "real" relationship And he was alone again. I just didn't get that. When it came to the three women, it was all about sharing and how love could be something given to more than one person... but when it comes to a man entering the picture, jealousy knows no bounds! Hell, it wasn't like Logan was pushing to be with anyone but Ororo.

It's been so long I hope you come back to this because its such a great xmen fanfic!

Ok..I'm not sure why it wasn't letting me post a review last night but hopefully I can post this one. Just wanted to say that I'm proud of the way you are progressing as a writer. I can definitely see the improvements in your writing and that's a good thing. I like the reloaded part way better. So on to the view.

The drama and pain that is going on with these ladies is crazy. I really need them to sit down and having a long talk even if it takes months for them to become the union they all secretly hoping to become. There's so much pain that's dividing them that I'm just waiting for Emma to come back to they can work this out. Its actually sad and heartbreaking to watch this unfold like this but that's what happens when you lack communication for so long.

I also like the way the children don't see the division. They see one big family and they want that family back. Their so accepting and encouraging that I can't help but to feel bad that right now their family doesn't necessarily exist but hopefully one day it will.
