I totally agree and love this fic always hated how Castle's thoughts and feelings kinda got brushed to the side in the whole series to many times he shoulda been allowed a more impressive outburst of feelings when was rarely given any at all. Only time I felt he was ever given any at all was in Hollander Woods episode

Let me start with this is one of my favourite stories! Throughout the series Kate was allowed to get away with a lot in how she treated Castle. Recently, several authors have written stories where she gets a measure of comeuppance and has to address her poor behaviour. that is not to say that Castle was perfect but he tended to take ownership of his mistakes. Stories like re-establish a balance as it should be. Well done!

Let me jus say that i felt the same way. I mean with all his "know a guys" really u stay home and cook and then come and do nuthing. True what could he do. But he could have raised his voice and shook them up a little. I'm witchu!

Loved this story! I could easily picture Castle's reaction and I really appreciated how Javi and Kevin apologized to him. Kate as Captain just seems right. :) Good job on a very creative, new take on this time in the series.

I never write this many reviews. Everything you are saying ran through my head during that episode. Belly of the beast ranks right along side squab and quill for me.

I liked the cod's speech. I was so pissed at Beckett that episode I never really thought about the way she was played by those in charge. Her accepting the assignment still annoys me but now I can see how she never really stood a chance of saying no with the way she is. Castle is really the only one who can slow her down.

Perfect! The whole undercover thing made me furious too. It was beyond ridiculous. The points you made about her notoriety were the same things I was yelling at the tv when this episode aired.

considering this was only supposed to be a one shot it turned to be a good story.

I had absolutely ZERO idea where Agent Rodgers FBI was gonna go...and I hit 54 chapters and over 100K words. Not to mention a sequel a prequel a one shot and a Christmas set of drabbles.

So rock on with your stream of consciousness self...I'm in the same boat too...a one shot that is now six chapters in and climbing!
