I've finished reading this as of February 26, 2020, and I am so shocked to find that it took you five years to write this-i've never seen such a devoted fanfiction author. And I love this thing so much, and I can see you expressing your emotions through Nico and Percy. And omg, i don't even know what to say- this was so amazing, even though it literally only took 3 days for me to read it. Please keep being an amazing writer and moving forward, 'dianna44'!

Although I found this fic pretty late in the game, I still really enjoyed it, with its ups and downs. At times, it got really depressing (a compliment to your writing) and I didn't think I could keep going, but I'm glad I did. This last chp still wasn't all sunshine and daisies, but there's definitely a lot of improvement in Nico's (and Percy's I guess) mindset. And as you wrote at the beginning of each scene, we know that the pair are doing well, holding on, and just enjoying life. Thanks for sticking with this story for many years and actually completing it

I think this ending was absolutely perfect. Because as you said in life there is no guarantee and life has its highs and lows. The ending leaves Nico and us feeling hopeful and for the moment happy which is enough. I think the ending is beautiful really and very raw in feeling. This whole chapter felt very emotional but in a very good way. The end note was lovely and I’m glad you were so open to us. I hope to see more from you and hope to see that you’re still very much happy.

I would like to start off and say that I have not commented on a fanfiction in YEARS! I started reading this fic when it first came out and I was only 14 not even in high school yet. Now I’m wrapping up my freshman year of College soon and this story is now over. It was such a wonderful journey to be on with you and see your writing style change and I love love love what you did with this story! I would actually love to see this story turned into a movie or a mini series because this is something fresh and new (I’m a film/tv major so This is kinda my thing lol) but seriously I want you to shop this around to different production companies (of course only If you want to). They way you dealt with Bianca’s death and the text messages were so innovative and something I’ve never seen before! Anyways I’m just here to say thank you for all the time and effort you put into giving us readers a phenomenal story and thank you for just bringing me a little bit of enjoyment every time I received an email saying you updated! Not gonna lie I did cry but they were tears of joy. Please continue on doing great things because I want to see your name in the future! Best of luck on all your future endeavors!

Can I just say WOW! I don't really read a lot of Nicery stories but this one blew me away.
I don't even know where to start.
Everything in this story is amazing. The plot line and characterizations are interesting an intriguing and every choice and decision you made with the characters MAKES SENSE. The characters and emotions are so raw that I feel like I could be sitting next to one of these people in a coffee shop.
Next thing that was amazing was your writing. and I mean the technical stuff. Your repetition really stood out in a good way and stabbed at my heart each time you repeated it (in a good way, of course) your description and flow in general is incredible and I wished I had a higher vocabulary to describe how amazing this story was in the way it deserves.
You are an amazing writer and this story has the right amount of angst, humor and slow burn-
OH MY GOSH THIS IS THE BEST SLOW BURN STORY I HAVE EVER READ AND WOULD PROBABLY BE THAT WAY FOREVER. I LOVE slow burn stories because they are more realistic and it feels crappy when it's rushed. BUT THIS STORY IS SPECTACULARLY AWESOME BECAUSE EVEN AFTER 18 CHAPTERS PERCY /STILL/ DOESN'T ADNIT HIS FEELINGS AND THIS IS THE MOST RELATABLE STORY FOR ANYONE IN THE CLOSET, OUT THE CLOSET, DOESN'T EVEN KNOW THE CLOSET EXIST!

Omg I cried during this chapter when it got to Percy telling Nico about how he new Bianca and just all of it. I hope Nico gets better and maybe finds his old phone when he's fully better and stuff. Maybe he doesn't find it and that's fine as well. But I can't wait to read the next chapter you have for us.
