For one, these are two separate universes, not the same one, two, Chief’s Armor would have no problem blocking their fire, three, UNSC weapons would very well be able to puncture the armor, as they puncture nanolaminate, stronger than anything found on earth... nanolaminate can’t stop it, let alone crudely welded metals.

Well damn, that was really good. There aren't many Metroid crossovers around anymore, so I was rather pleased to stumble onto this hidden gem. The action scenes, the dialogue, and the world building were all top notch. I really loved the relationship between Chief and Samus, it was pretty fun seeing her help him get out his shell and get wasted.

I think it was wise of you to avoid any romance between the two, this early on anyway, those two would be a VERY slow burn and with their personalities it wouldn't be possible to pair them up so early without being extremely out of character, I'm personally fine if you don't add in any romance, but it would be interesting to see how it would play out considering how emotionally stunted Chief is.

I'm not sure if you'll continue this, your account has been inactive for two years now, but if you ever you get the inspiration to continue, than please know I'll be eager to see what's next.

An interesting and enjoyable story. I do feel that the John and Samus were very OOC, John especially, but it was easy ignore that and enjoy the ride.

I really liked this a lot. It was a fun read and you wrote Master Chief in a way that was true to character, can't tell you how hard it is to find fics where people do that. You also write really well and that's a pretty big deal since I wouldn't be reading this if you didn't. I hope you still are planning on writing the second part of this series, but if not that's cool. It's been over a year so I get it.

This is the best Metroid/Halo crossover. You blend both universes together really well and the interactions between the Chief and Samus are great, both their characters are dead-on. I hope you continue it soon.

Damn, what kinda alcohol was the Chief drinking? His augmentations gave him an increased metabolism so it's really REALLY hard for him to get drunk.
