Wow, that was a hell of a ride. Read it in one sitting. I love the clashing morals and stuff, and it actually makes sense how Kurapika reacted in the way he does. For all of the characters, really. Very in-character, altho it does make me quite frustrated at time haha. Also, Asterra as a character is great! Ya know, with a history that molds her into what she is now, fears, goals to reach. Super cool seeing her interactions. I can't wait for the sequel! Can't wait for her to learn and use Nen! Great job!

This fic... I burned thru it in a single day. Your writing was so good and engaging splendid job all around. I love how Asterra has her own goals and ambitions and this isn't a story where the OC just spends time with Gon and Killua.

There were times where I found the characters to be frustrating, but even then it made sense as to why they were acting that way.

I think the only critic I have over this story is the pacing, there were times where I thought it was dragging along and seem unnecessary, especially because as readers we kinda already know that the OC will at least make the last part of the hunter exam.

If you still need beta, I'm more than happy to help. I love this universe that you're building up and cannot wait to read the sequel.

First of all, I'd like to admit I came in expecting nothing when I stumbled upon this. A few minutes of reading later I was already eating my words. You've done an excellent job over the years, and I love the worldbuilding details and the attention you gave to characters with less screen time like Menchi and Ponzu. The relationship between Asterra and others, especially Kikiri, was enjoyable and entertaining. That little weasel's definitely the right partner for her.
Gushing aside, I do have a few questions. Okay, maybe more than a few.
1. What kind of Nen ability would Asterra have?
2. What do you envision her doing after the events of Lattices?
3. Given that the Resca have a higher concentration of minerals in their bones, are they related to the Lariats in any way?
4. What did Asterra's parents want to tell her when she got older? Did they have her join the Resca military ranks in order for her to blend in?
5. Admittedly completely unrelated to the story, but do you have any fanfic recommendations? I noticed you mentioned Freedom X Fortune X Fate before, and I had read that before coming across this, so I trust your judgment.
And last but not least:
6. WHAT THE HELL POSSESSED ASTERRA!?
All in all, this probably isn't much, but thanks for writing this! It was a great read.
