This was a lovely portrayal of how it could begun for them. I'm glad you didn't just ease into it, and that you made it complicated and difficult as it always would be, but still lovely. I really liked the parallels you made between the two universes to achieve almost the same effect on the characters. I love how patient Obi-Wan is and understanding, even when things aren't made so easy for him. And I love how Asajj was willing to give him a chance, despite being wary. I'm not so sure about Anakin's portrayal, I mean, he's angry and unforgiving, but, before he turned, he was also nice. Not Asajj, but I don't think he bullied people for no reason.

Okay, first off, I *love* Rocky Road. One of my favorite flavors. Also like mint chocolate chip.

The "wannabe goth" line made me laugh aloud. Loved it.

At the risk of sounding conceited, some parts of this reminded me of my fics, particularly "Fated Attraction" and "Silver Linings." How Obi-Wan makes her feel guilty when she hurts him, the unwillingness to get close to someone only to lose them, their surprising natural rapport when they don't have to keep up appearances, his annoying yet endearing optimism. There might be more that I've forgotten. I mean, it's probably coincidence because we write their dynamic similarly, but it's still awesome to see.

The IMing in the beginning was fun. Loved how Obi-Wan could still sound hurt via text. That is so yes, somehow. And nice touch with the different styles of writing, Obi-Wan proper and Asajj more lax with lower case and no punctuation sometimes. I think that's exactly how they'd write.

Can definitely relate to it being easier to say things in writing than face to face.

Great portrayal of Rex and Cody. Loved how Rex kind of took after Anakin and Cody showed a bit of compassion for the losers. I love them both as characters. And yeah, Obi-Wan would dislike the loud atmosphere of football, and the unnecessary violence.

Qui-Gon as an Ethics teacher and Dooku doing military history and emphasizing knowledge is so right. Qui-Gon would have also worked as biology teacher.

Loved the end where Obi-Wan is watching to ensure she gets inside without incident. Awww. :D

There's just so much to like about this story. I can't seem to list everything. I was skeptical of the premise, but since I know I enjoy your work, I took a look. And I'm glad I did.
