I'm not sure Yukimura is the best person to teach winning, cause from what I remember in the series he got his ass kicked a LOT.

SDK was such an under-appreciated manga. Really glad I found this story, it was quite a fun read. It's just too bad it's a one-shot.

There is a piece of avalanche survival knowledge that I think you would find interesting. You were talking about how people who are buried alive sometimes dig down. The same thing happens in avalanche survivors, some of which don't stay survivors because of that. So the advice is to put your hands near your face and drool/spit on them, the idea is that gravity still works so up, is the opposite direction from the one that the spit falls.

Honestly, I know the YAHF acronym is intended to express exhaustion with the sheer number of Halloween fics for the Slayer franchise. But ... I really like them. Especially ones like this, where the Costumed and the Costume exist as separate entities and have to strike a balance between themselves.

I really like the glimpse into SDK I've seen here, so I'll be looking up that franchise, which I'd never heard of before. The stuff in this story is completely recognizable to an outside perspective, by the way. I had no trouble understanding what was going on here. :)

What an /awesome/ story! I love how u wove in the Sea of Trees and the Japanese break of things in the secret Watcher records. The dynamic between Buffy and Yukimura was absolutely brilliant! I actually liked how the Sea of Trees altered Buffy so Yukimura's soul could stay with her (which is saying something, I normally dislike anything that permanently alters canon).
I'm looking forward to a sequel! There Kano way this just ends! Not with Giles and Spike just learning about Yukimura (and his continued presence in Giles case). Best of luck writing! U are an amazing writer.

Peculiar. And.. interesting/intriguing. Looks like I've got some research to do in the near future. Do you have a sequel in mind for this oddball little story? After all, what looks like a reborn, /wild/ demon forest, a partially possessed Slayer, a Muramasa blade on the lookout for its wielder, two Clans with historical bad blood and an oath or two to fulfill? Toss in the Scoobies, Wolfram and Hart plus someThing that wants the Muramasa and matters promise to get... /*Interesting*/. Oh, and that little.. bargain.. going on with Spike?...

I'm interested. I sincerely hope your fertile, if Very strange, imagination has got a sequel [or more] bubbling away in the background...

This was one of the more intresting crossovers I have read. I cant help but think that Yukimura and Buffy will be great friends and the world will never know what actually hit it until the after mate. So to say this was just a great story to read and thanks for the hard work.
