I think Katniss and Peeta will help each other leaps and bounds in their healing process. They will heal individually, and together as a pair! Also, maybe Peeta needs a dog or companion who can help him not be so lonely?

I am so happy this story has not been forgotten. This is one of the few I’ve thought about randomly over the years hoping it would be finished. I reread the previous chapters with tears in my eyes, I was 18 when the towers were hit. It brings up memories and thoughts I was not old enough to contemplate at that young age. To follow that with Peeta’s perspective was fantastic, sad, hard to read and well written. Please keep writing. I can’t wait to see how Prim fits into the mix. Having a little sister myself makes me think it can only get better from here (it’s what little sisters do). I hope to read more soon!
