Shirou as the Magician Arcana? I personally would've made him be Fortune, instead.

Although the Magician Arcana is on the mark because Shirou is a magus, the Fortune Arcana deals with those who are touched by destiny and fate. They will either follow their predestined path or fight bitterly to the end against it. Considering the whole "Shirou vs Archer" thing that goes on in Fate, with the latter being the ultimate end to Shirou's pursuit of his ideals and the former vehemently denying it to the point of crossed swords, I think Fortune is much better suited for our red-haired Fate protagonist

The 3 main paths are separated by Shinro's view on his ideals and who he falls in love with, having social links with his enemies is not unexpected, alliances and deals are common enough and getting the respect or not helping other Masters and Servants can make all the difference when the cards are down.

Ah yes the S.E.E.S shenanigans, those tales make the HGW look quite tame a good few times. Once Rin realises just what her servant has went through... well masks get discarded at some point.

With Orpheus being the basic persona and Orpheus Telos not being summoned is a very good way of showing that Makoto is back at square one. Makoto summoning the more mythical beings is going to be fun, or even Death with some of the backstories that has quite the potential.

With how Shinro develops fighting wise Magician seems about right although his ideology fits more with Justice (I mean he calls himself an Ally of Justice for crying out loud, but hey Naoto represents Wheel of Fortune but her inner self is different to Shinro's, his fits a bit like a reverse Akechi, who himself is a reverse). Now the character arcs of Magicians involve their superiority-inferiority complex, having to deal with the loss of their lover (or in Morgana's case, his inability to get one), and the person being a impulsive brat for lack of a better term. Shinro has zero self worth, I'm pretty sure one of his 3 lovers die no matter what route is taken and most of his worst moments in the anime would fit the last one to a tea, normally it is simply due to the fact that his internal monologue cannot be heard but it would still fit under "I did not think this through."

Well Rin, out of the 3 Wildcards you ended up with the greatest of them and in all likliness only rivalled by Gilgamesh (I would not be surprised if Makoto is actually greater) which considering age increases power makes Makoto even more impressive, since his is actually in the future if I've got my timeline correct, only by a few years but still.

Ruiji is here, is he summonable? If he is then the M&S' meeting this perverted carnation of Death shall be a joy to read.

To say those images are out of this world Rin would be an understatement. Makoto's powers is a variety that no oneelse has.

I really hope you update this soon. It’s interesting and rather well written. Really, the only complaints I have are the occasional errors here and there, but that’s about it.

I definitely want to get to the start of the Holy Grail War, because the interactions between the groups, now that Makoto is here, should be quite special.

As an amnisiac, Rin shouldn't discount the Caster Class just because he cant remember any spells. It could just be that he can't remember them and she DID say that his STATS seemed like it might be possible. Its more likely than Archer or Rider anyway.

I've just finished marathoning the story, it was quite interesting to read. I look forward to more in the future, especially since the war is coming closer to fruition.

I do commend you for summoning Mikoto so early and using Social links to get his powers back.

It was an interesting departure and although I wasn't a fan of the Lancer VS Minato/Mikoto Scene I still look forward to seeing more in the future.
