Not a mess. I actually enjoyed this quite thoroughly. One thing, maybe 3 weeks was a long time for him to be able to watch and not act. Still, nice story.

That final scene was brutal and it's so nice to read about the possibilities during this long hiatus! Great job!

This is definitely a lot less of a mess that what was the actual finale. Although heartbreaking(ly beautiful), I really liked the story and the Tyson-Hunt mix. I wish we get something like this on season 7!

fake death fics are wonderful cause you get that gut wrenching emotion of them thinking they are dead and the consequences of that, but then you also get an amazing reunion scene and you just freaking nailed it like ugh brilliant

Thanks for this! It dealt with the angst I have been feeling since last night, gave a good reason for the fire...not ignoring the cannon of the story like some writers have...in some way, not sure how, it has helped me grieve the loss and have hope for the future. Which, as an OCD person, is a very nice gift! This is the best out there! Let people know it is here!
