I love Kogorou in Detective Conan. He is highly realistic as a dad and he cares even if I think he got highly depressed when he left the police force.

...good lords, this is so cute! And, honestly, how I view their tiny family, which makes Shinichi coming back so...horrible? They'd lose a son, a little brother, that little cog that brought light back into their hearts. He's been gone for so long, and his only real drive to come back is the girl he can no longer see as anything but his beloved and adored sister...ah, no matter which way you vote, tears are abundant.
