I think your assessment of Oliver there in your AN was dead on. I think you're absolutely right. This was fantastic. It really was. I'm glad I read the whole thing in one go. However, when my little ones wake me up tomorrow morning at six-thirty I might be cursing your name. Just saying.

I love that you stopped it when you did, despite my previous statement that I wished this was a rated M story. It feels right here, given the tone, and I think you did the story a service by not betraying that. Good work. You're very intuitive as a writer and it shows in your restraint.

This fight. I love this fight. I love when they fight almost as much as I love it when they're not fighting. I actually might like the fighting more just because of how sensual it is between them, how emotional, you know. Ugh. You portray that so well.

P.S. I also wish this story was rated M, lol.

I love both of Felicity's lines in this one that were misconstrued. Holy cow. I laughed. Literally, not just in a "lol" sort of fashion where we all know that no one is actually laughing. I literally laughed because it's so darn close to what we see on the show, if not exactly. You nail it and it's fan-freaking-tastic,

Oh wow. Now that's a sight I would love to see, right? Sheesh. Felicity. And it is SO like her to kind of, you know, duck out of sight and keep it to herself. How many times have we caught her ogling him on the show while she was supposed to be working on the computers, right? lol. Really good job here. Really really. I'm sure I've said that half a dozen times now but I mean each and every one.

I absolutely love the idea that Felicity would make it her mission to bring laughter back into his life. This is so absolutely true to these two characters that I can't help but feel my heart filling up to the brink with love and happiness to think of it. She's a double-edged sword for him, his light and heart but also his biggest weakness. I totally get their reservations. I'm having happy tears and heart pangs to think about the whole thing. Ugh. This is totally not helping me go to bed. You're gonna be the death of my sleep habits I think, lol.

I really love this conversation/fight between Oliver and Diggle. I feels very authentic and something I'd very much like to see, though we likely won't get that in season 3. Fantastic work here. Your dialogue is amazing. Dialogue is an art and you wield a mighty brush, that's for sure.

You are wringing every last emotion out of me tonight. Sheesh. Please take that as a compliment though. I love writing that makes me feel. Whether it's happy or sad or love or hate, I just want to feel and feel deeply. You are able to do that. YOU make your readers feel. Never doubt that. And take it to heart because it isn't something that just any writer can do. You have a talent and you should be really proud.

Awwww, nice chapter, and I love the title, too! I agree with you that once Oliver makes up his mind, he totally goes for it. I'm also iike you in that I feel Oliver should be able to get the company back after all that's happened - although I'm not sure that will be the direction the CW Arrow writers will go...
