Haha I loved his reaction to Flutterbat. She really had a cute look as a vampire pony, and I'm glad she got to keep the fangs in the end. You make a point, ol' Dissy has a ways to go before anything serious can happen, so it's nice to see them explore and get little crushes before taking big steps.

This is very entertaining — and very well written. Your writing skills are explicable, your storytelling skills more so. Combine that with great My Little Pony characters and an interesting Beauty and the Beast ship, and you end up with this. Bravo.

I have to say that this is my favorite interpretation of Discord finding out about Flutterbat. The other ones were cute, but they didn't really go into the emotional detail you did. I have to agree that Discord has a long way to go before he's ready for a romantic relationship, and Fluttershy does seem like the most likely candidate (Plus it would be so CUTE!)

I loved it. I agery with you about Fluttershy and Discord's relationship. Maybe you could make a continuing-on of this story, showing the gradual progress of their relationship? That is if you wont to continue the story.

Maybe the bat fangs at the end is just the beginning warning that she will return to her flutterbat form. But this time it is a slow peruses and,if not stopped, a permanent one. that way fluttershy still has her sweet kind normal domineer as her body is slowly changing and as it continuous she starts to fill her mind and hart starting to change to that of the uncaring flutterbat.
Maybe the six find out, curtsy of Twilight's library, that they have to find a magical something or other ( Oh magic blue garlic haha) by the next whatever ( faze of the moon, sun rise whatever) and they need Discord's help. You could make so that Discord has to chose between Fluttershy's the kind and caring how touched his hart ,oh the pretty Flutterbat who would never truly care about him or any other pony. oh or Discord could be use his magic through the search to help fluttershy keep her free will thou her form is becoming more and more bat like. He mite be wounder if he could keep things the way they are, that way in his opinune he gets the best of both worlds. He could essaly trice every one into believing the (blue garlic) did not work. Discord most find out what miens more to him. His selfish desires for the perfect mare or Fluttershy's happiness.

BWAHAHAHAHA! I love Discord's reaction to Flutterbat! And yeah, it's clear he's not ready to take that big a step with Fluttershy yet (but he clearly wants to, lol).

This is really nice. I like that while this lays the groundwork for Fluttercord, you recognize that Discord is totally not ready for a romantic relationship yet in terms of his social development/redevelopment (I'm one of the ones who tends to think he *has* had relationships in the past of some kind, but years of being immortal, alone, omnipotent and practically insane have warped him to the point where he really needs to rebuild any social skills he ever had.) I like that his reaction to his own attraction was approximately as mature as Discord gets (yes, silly sight gags like the heart breaking open the doors in his chest, but he understands that it would complicate or damage his friendship with Fluttershy to try to pursue that), and that he totally didn't perceive the problem with going behind her back to see the bat thing until she pointed it out.

I also like that she was very firm with him, but forgiving once he admitted that it was a mistake and he won't repeat it. People sometimes think of Fluttershy as using her friendship as a weapon to force Discord to conform, but I don't think that's it at all; she's using her friendship as a tool to force him to learn how to actually *be* a friend, which will benefit him and everyone he ever interacts with in the long run.
