I love this fic soooo much. I read it years ago around when it was first published, when it was only one chapter, and it always stood out firmly in my mind even after all this time because of the excellent cliffhanger ending. I finally decided to try and find this again, and imagine my surprise when I found out there was a SECOND chapter now! It was a great addition and it humanizes Danny a lot—though it only makes me want more!

Anyway, thanks for this wonderfully well-written fic. Hope to see you write more (either of this or other projects) in the future!
