I know I've probably commented before and I've read this a whole bunch of times but it's still perfect every time. This is officially canon.

aaaah, but if only this was the way that it actually happened... it would definitely have been SO much better than the way they chose to do it... AWESOME story!

I have read this several times, coming back again to feel all the emotions your words seem to evoke. This is hauntingly beautiful. Oliver's advice, Holly's confession and her departure to give Gail time to think combined with Gail's new awareness made for one hell of an emotional ride. Given Gail's previous reactions to being hurt (as a reader) I have to wonder if this CAN be repaired. You did a great job of showing Gail's growth and thought process to make her confession to Holly believable. Thanks for a great story.

ok, if this scene isn't in the show I will be extremely cranky! Ughhh sooo many feelings! From extreme sadness (you write Gail's pain a little too well lol) and then her talk with Oliver so you have those grateful feelings towards him (and I love their little chats!) and then Holly's speech (puddle of goo from all the sadness and lovely words) and then Gail has more confusion and pain...and then they make up and there's a devasted Holly (heartbreaking) and then Gail's speech (sooo adorably cute! another puddle of goo!) and just djfkdhebnekfidbbebff...words can't even...I just...ugh...love this!

Wow! Brilliant! Amazing! Incredible! Phenomenal! Fantastic! There are not enough positive adjectives to describe either your writing or this story. The show should seek you out so you can write the Gail and Holly story for them and mostly us, the fans of this story and these characters.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this fic!

I didn't expect anything else but a soul-crushing, life-ruining, emotionally overwhelming thing from you, and then I read this and I feel like you always take it to next even more emotionally draining level ;D lol But anyway, I'm just so amazed at the intensity of your writing and the detailed descriptions of emotions. My heart literally hurt for Holly and for Gail and just wow I don't even know what to say. I loved the backstory you gave Holly and that she is not this perfect person who swoops in to save Gail. We can only dream to even just get a fraction of this in tonight's episode. Oh and also, of course, you know how much I love Peckshaw and it was the perfect opener for this ficlet. Oliver being all understanding and fatherly and supportive, but at the same time pushing Gail to do the right thing :') This friendship gives me life. Anyway, thank you for sharing this with us. I had been super excited for it and I wasn't disappointed. You're such an amazing writer, it's unbelievable ;) Why didn't you have Holly cut her hair though?! lol I'm just kidding, I'm glad she didn't ;) Ok bye

OMG Reckless-Deception! You really should be the one writing for the TV show. There is no way they will be able to pull off such a thoughtful and wonderful version of the events on tonight's show.
