oh, Maleficent... JUST KISS THE DANG RAVEN-GUY ALREADY!

This chapter was so interesting. Imagine how Maleficent would react to all the technology and lack of nature in the modern world; she would probably grab a microphone, get on the news, and talk about the harmful side of growing cities. She would probably say, "Of course housing is important, but crops can't grow themselves." I totally love her in this chapter.

I liked it. I felt like things were starting to roll into motion. There's a saying I'm rather fond of; if all peaches were very ripe, perfectly sweet, and lusciously soft... Someone would still hate peaches.

I know it's been quite a while, but I hope that this story will go on to be finished! It is one of the few long and plotty works in the fandom, and I would very much enjoy learning what happens next.

I love that you look realistically at the politics of the kingdom, that you give Phillip and Aurora personalities, and that you portray Maleficent as the strong, independent leader that she is. The only thing that could make this better is more Diaval, and the beginnings of Maleval romance. Keep up the excellent work!

This cliffhanger is killing me! (not literally) I lost track on how many times I read each and every chapter. You really know how to make readers beg. What is Brinwood going to do? Is there going to be iron involved? Or maybe he's trying to lock her in an old dungeon? I'll wait patiently for an update, but it has been a while.

I've been hunting through the Maleficent archive for a couple of days more for some good fic. This is the first one that has really tickled my fancy. Most ones I've seen so far have been a bit self-indulgent and impatient. I like that you seem to be taking proper time to create believable action and plot. Your characters are really in parallel with the canon, especially in that you give Maleficent the main focus. You've dove a great job with her, bravo! Your attention to detail is fabulous. I look forward to seeing Aurora come into her own, and getting acquainted with her character beyond what the movie provided.

A very entertaining story. I like the realistic (as realistic as it can get with faeries and pixies) way you are handling the aftermath of the movie. Of course it wouldn't be as easy as letting Aurora sit on the throne and everything being alright again. I do wish the was a bit more Diaval, they way you exclude him from the story seems a bit forced, like you don't really know what to do with him so you pushed him aside, and that leaves him feeling a little flat as a character. I still remember fondly the first chapter where a Dragon Diaval came charging through, bellowing for his mistress. Anyways, that's just my opinion. I still like it so I will be looking forward for more chapters!
