Reviews for Lamb Stew
Jacob chapter 1 . 8/12/2014
Most fanfictions I read are just short drabbles filled with half-hearted adjectives and soul. What you have created here is something very different. This was a very touching story, and you really gave every character a soul and personality. I have cried a lot from watching FMA, but never from reading a fanfiction. That changed when I read this. I felt so happy, and you truly touched my soul in every paragraph. Well done, and thank you. For writing such a fantastic piece of literature.

Cute! I love the little bits of AlMei in it, too.
GummyDrive chapter 1 . 7/4/2014
This is one of the most adorable stories! Love the little Al x Mei moments too. Edwin is so cute!

Think I'll try making lamb stew sometime.

BuggyNess chapter 1 . 6/12/2014
I was going to say, before I read your end note, I don't think you'd be able to keep Ed out of the delivery room. But, yeah, that's just "how they did it" back then (really up through the 1970's.) Funny how that's changed (I'm ever so grateful Mr. Ness was there with me when Babyness was born!) Tradition aside, I think it's sort of brilliant of the Rockbell women (and Pinako probably had some say in Sara doing it too) having the worried Dad's keep busy making a time consuming stew and really "out of their way" during their births. Not much the dad's could do but cheerlead, hold them/make them comfortable, get in the way of the midwife or even get sick and faint anyway. You should write more happy fanfics, too, this one is a gem.

I truly enjoyed this story.
