I just wanted to let you know...that this is Cannon for me now, this is the ending
I just finished the books and while I’m happy that she’s happy, I couldn’t help but feel like there was soooooo much missed potential with the whole ‘eternity’ thing, when there’s only one like you out there that concept is so interesting to tackle. She could have even had her happy farm life With Mal for all I care and then once he’s passed...then revisit the darling (with another trilogy hahah) but you know what...this is better, I love it. Thank you for this, it’s healed my heart haha xx

I can’t remember the last time I signed into my fanfiction account to leave a review but after reading this story, I just HAD to. This was a fantastic read, I really enjoyed every moment of it. You managed to capture Alarkling perfectly while still managing to keep Alina true to her character. I wish this was the ending we’d gotten but alas, we did not.
However, I’m super glad to have stumbled across this story.

Really, i've never read such a good story about this couple...so muchu pain, rage, desire, soffering...Im crying my heart out. Alina is so hurt...and Darkling too...oh my...cant keep writing cause i dont know how to say how much i loved it. You write soo good. You are talented. Truly.

I haven't entirely read it though* but... This was AMAZING! I love the way it was written, in terms of style. And the fact that I got to see her be with the two other guys in her life besides Mal was just EXTRAORDINARY. But this really changed my point of view on who matches Alina perfectly. Now, I see that Mal was the ONLY one for her. Even though. Nikolai was an AMAZING husband! I'm glad I got to see Nikolina out on action. Alarkling wasn't what I expected though. It didn't hit me as good as it used to. Now, I think Nikolina is the best. On the other hand, brining back those old memories was heart clenching. It hurts to see how it would have turned out if Mal had died and Alina never lost her powers. Showing how hard it was to live more than 200 years showed me how precious other people's lives are. Thank you for showing me that living forever is not as good as some movies bring it out to be. Losing Nikolai, Genya, David, etc. really hurt me. But still, THANK YOU!
