jackleen chapter 5 . 8/30/2014
Loved reading more of the story that goes on been the scenes. Can't wait for more of Yancy and Raleigh in the prequel. I'm not a huge fan of Chuck but I liked how accurate he was paid along with the post war PPDC fallout. Great story, please keep writing more pacific rim stories!
EmberTheGreat chapter 5 . 7/7/2014

CheesetothePower chapter 5 . 7/5/2014

knightphoenix2 chapter 5 . 7/3/2014
A great, if sobering final chapter to a great story!

It was moving, seeing the various funerals, and the families, both biological and not, of the Jaeger Pilots.

Great seeing Chuck grow up, just in time!

Looking forward to the next great story, and please, keep up the great work!
EmberTheGreat chapter 3 . 6/30/2014
Really enjoying this - hope you continue to update :) Love your characterisation of Chuck and Herc.
knightphoenix2 chapter 2 . 6/27/2014
Great work!

Stacker *finally* had the courage to act out of compassion, instead of just duty! I wonder what happened in these last years to make him decide to save more lives, not just the most convenient ones? Plus, he held himself to the highest standards of his rank when he immediately resigned his position after drugging his co-pilot.

And, it was absolutely wonderful that Sasha recovered, and got to LOCCENT in time to summon Russian naval help! Someday, we have to find out what the conventional military was doing while the Kaiju War was going on ...

Glad that Tendo took command of the rescue efforts, and that Herc was able to appoint Sasha to run the ShatterDome while he went to get his son!

Keep up the great work, please!
knightphoenix2 chapter 1 . 6/25/2014
Wow! Thanks for explaining Stacker's POV on dismissing Raleigh, and the unfortunate reprimand that Alison got after getting that guy who dissed the Beckets, and the one that Tendo got.

By the book, rules that suppress emotions to enhance clear thinking to ensure success and victory.

Funny how that *didn't* work out ...

Instead, he wrecked morale amongst his own organization, causing a lot of good, talented people to leave. He barely got Tendo to stay ...

And, because he was so intent in enforcing the *rules*, he ignored evidence that the kaiju were becoming more intelligent and dangerous. Which led directly to all the failures that led to the dismantling of the Jaeger Program, and to the final disasterous battles.

At least, just before that final battle, Chuck Hansen apologized to Mako.

Looking forward to Chapter 2!
