so, i have read this and reread it at least ten times by now. you know when you already know the lines from your favorite movie that you just love so much you can't get enough of? this is the "movie" for me.

silver is, in my humble opinion, one of the greatest works in the whole Sirimione fandom, if not the greatest. not only due to your amazing skills at story telling, but the deep, raw, flawed veracity you gave these characters. look, i just want to first congratulate you for that because what you did with your character development and having such a solid grasp in to how their personalities play out to be is nothing besides legendary. your late 70s asshole misogynyst loyal-to-the-core badboy with the softest fucking heart sirius is a masterpiece in this fandom, and your hermione filled with trauma and ptsd and bronkeness and sturboness and and and ughhhhh and james and batty and remusss and PETER and fucking albus?

i could literally go on for DAYS just congratulating you and thanking you for each and every tiny detail in this story. it just makes me so happy that Silver exists. it sets a whole new bar for sirimione and overall for high quality fan fiction. i'm so emotional about this fic, i just love every pieace of it. i have a whole playlist for Silver, and i put it on everytime i'm reading it (there's a lot of oasis and led zeppelin and pink floyd)... it just takes me there, to this crazy world you setted up for us. you're so talented, it's crazy.

i know you won't probably read this, and this fic will probably never be updated but i still feel like you should know, and i speak this so honestly, you're a genius and this story is your masterpiece. you'd be really fucking proud of it. and i mean, a girl can dream right? who knows if one of these days i'll be here just doing my monthly reading of silver and boom an update!

I really enjoyed this fic. The opening and overall premise were compelling. At one point, though, the amount of profanity in it started to hurt my brain. In a way, I appreciate that Sirius is such a women-hating dick for much of this story, because honestly the guy has Mommy Issues and it makes sense for him to be absolutely toxic and angry toward women as a result. I think most fic writers probably make him too respectful, honestly, given his characterization and background. But did he NEED to call every woman a b*tch and drop f-bombs in nearly every sentence (not to mention Batty's similar inclinations toward constantly using those words)? Probably not, but I get it, to an extent. Hooky was very cute. Hermione was just as much of a mess as one would expect in such circumstances. Dumbledore was on point.

Wow! What an interesting and unique take on the time turner story! So different from what I’m used to reading but also incredibly good with character voice. I like that Hermione seems so much more fragile than normal at the beginning but then works up to the strong and stubborn girl we know. It really fills out her complexity.
