If I could put this story into my top 10 favorites ever, I probably would. I'm such a sap when it comes to baby stories and adoption melts me, but this...Wow. There's just so much gentle love, and sweet progress and...ugh, I literally have no words. Josie is perfect, and Kate as a mom, this mom...wow. Castle is such a dad, right away, but seeing them blossom into a family was beautiful. Even when they were just playing house they were perfect, but how they support each other at the end is amazing.
I'm glad that in the end every loose end was tied up, how free they are to love each other and build their family. Beautiful. The perfect summer story. Thank you for sharing it with us!

I read this story a couple years ago and just finished it again and it is really awesome. I remember I kept it in my queue forever before I read it because I didn't think I would like it, shows you want I know. I love the AU twist you created while keeping it along the actual story line. Really sweet and emotional story that I am sure a lot of readers can relate to. You are a great writer

I came late to this party, but loved evety single second of it. Saw the rec on twitter last week and spent some very late nights devouring this lovely story. Much more satisfying than the show, and you captured every nuance of each of the characters. I could hear Martha, laughed & cried with Kate & Rick, appreciated the new & improved Alexis, wanted to hug Jordan, and loved little Josie from the beginning. I wish you had been part of the Castle writing staff. Thank you for this gem of an all-encompassing love story.
