Damn, damn, damn! Sucker punched on the last chapter. I was so enjoying this wonderfully gothic bodice ripper of a story. But I have to admit chapter six is a hoot! Well written. I’ll check out your other stories. Hopefully they won’t be so ... anticlimactic.

Your really good at describing emotion! The way you write is really elegant and I really like Jareth! I don't think Sarah has actually said anything yet.

Yeah, that original ending didn't fit the style of the story at all... I know the goal was to leave the audience dissatisfied, but you could have kept the style the same. The charicters didn't even react the way a reader would expect them to, based on the first few chapters.

That being said, you seem to be making a good comeback with the "alternate" ending. I'll reserve judgment till I get to the end.

In response to the authors note at the end of chapter 4: someday the readers might not mind so much.

It's been very good so far. I like the inner beast concept. A lot of Labyfics give Jareth an inner struggle, but I've never seen it personified before.

Oh man, this is so freaking beautiful. It's so...redemptive, when he values her over his own desires. Taking the Beast seemed random at first, but it has such clear sense as you go that it's just...brilliant.
But this still needs to be M.

I think you should be happy that people were unsatisfied, since that WAS the point...but art for art's sake and all that...
I'm worried, since we're bringing in time manipulation, since that can go so wrong in SO many ways, but my fingers are still tightly crossed!

W...why would you do this to me? I admit, I WAS thinking, "Gee, Jareth, you've been bleeding a lot, are you sure you should..."
But...I didn't MEAN...

(But really, it was hilarious. I was telling a friend about it, and she briefly panicked, thinking he was dead. I'm sure he half wishes.)

"He could build a world in those eyes." That just...wow. It says...SO much.
And thank you for the darkness blending with light vis a vis their hair, a kind of yin/yang relationship, given their natures, I have always loved!
I also love the simple statement of "I need to kiss you now." So direct, so, "Well, OBVIOUSLY."
That Jareth wins but also loses, is so, SO wonderful...
DAMN IT, WHY ISN'T THIS M!? This needs to happen, NOW.
