The realistic portrayal of their overly-close relationship and it's inevitable consequences is nice, and it's a fresh breath of air. Although I dislike their speech patterns, I guess I'm not one to complain, because I haven't really read past MAX. This might be IC for them, it might not. In either case, it's a small detraction, but I like the way that you tackle Max's pigheadedness and entitlement as well as her and Fang's denial of their stale and unstable relationship.
