VulpineSnow chapter 14 . 11/29/2016
Brandi and Candi do indeed scare me... Future Dark Lord Club, or something, Shirley's aura spoke of? Hm...

Really hope they actually do commit to good, as opposed to Perfecto's Absolute Power ideals Margot may have... instilled.

Because if not, the world is screwed.

As usual, pretty cool job. Great ending here.

Keep the good writing.

Awesome chapter. :)

I've seen ducks chase and attack other ducks. They eat fish and frogs so I guess they could be predators too.
Karl helm chapter 3 . 1/19/2016
Another one of Plucky's alt rock groups is Nine Inch Nails.
Karl helm chapter 2 . 1/19/2016
Plucky's favorite music is mostly alternative. He likes Nine Inch Nails, Linkin Park, Chili Peppers, and U2.
Karl Helm chapter 3 . 1/19/2016
Plucky listens to modern country, hair metal and alternative rock. He either listens to a country station or a classic rock station. He also listens to music from the 50s and 60s like Chuck Berry and Roy Orbison. He even likes progressive rock (Yes, Pink Floyd, Gentle Giant, Kraftwerk.)
His favorite alt rock groups are U2, Linkin Park, Chili Peppers, REM, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, and Korn. For Hair Metal he likes Bon Jovi, Metallica, Van Halen, and Queensryche.
Karl Helm chapter 2 . 1/19/2016
Plucky should be a marine just like Daffy was on TLTS. His area however would be aviation electronics.
Karl helm chapter 1 . 1/19/2016
I don't think Plucky and Margot could raise a family together. Acme Acres has a sister city in Texas. In my opinion it would be Arlington,TX. It's east of Fort Worth in Tarrant County and is west of Dallas.

Comments - Chapter 11 - Home to Roost, by Simon Barber

Starting out at end-of-term - with Variola at Perfecto Prep. I also admire their taste in triple-glazed windows on the dorm balcony windows. In one phrase, that underlines the visual value of the 'RETRO' in retro-gothic architecture. Modern comfort and utility behind the ersatz-lichen-covered window mullions. In a page, subtly recapping the cultural & material differences from Acme Looniversity and between the students and most of the graduates.

Back at Acme Acres, with Plucky and children: You do an excellent indirect explanation of the game Retro Rocket Rumble, including game strategy. Plucky's attitude towards his children and their processing of their new environment is very balanced: He is engaged and encouraging and willing to answer their questions (with no malice towards anyone and a clueless sharing of sophisticated indulgence fantasy gaming role-playing attitudes which are walled away from his acceptable-level of socialized and civilized persona.) Plucky clearly has no idea how much intelligence and will to control his children have, and what their very limited experience means, if they are not cautious about taking independent action.

(You probably observed parents, relatives, teachers, & schoolmates much as I did. Working hard to construct how the world worked. Assembling concepts together with no understanding of irony or metaphor, or experience in the difficulties of adults being unable to communicate real reality.)

So with no malice, and no clue to his kids' understanding of adults conversational fantasy lives, Ducky puts the words into it. You are very skillful (and it helps that they are all 'unreal' science-fantasy toons) that this doesn't drive the reader to scream at the text. This would be exquisitely grim and terrorizing done as a real-world thriller. It still works as a teaching fable. And truly, how would he know... until he and his wife have an event with the children where they can figure it out? Really well-communicated, and you really are being merciful by presenting this by having it a toon-world fable.

The kids are able to learn how to understand & manipulate large 'storms' of electrical current, with their shamanistic training. Well presented.

Off to Unit Four Plus Two - "Wok the Hell!" restaurant is yet another great concept. Many throw-away concepts used well to show personalities and social strategies. Was this from college student observation, or other social parts of your life? You've ended up with a style of presentation that echoes the popular adult-animation style in the USA (and England, for all I know) - Character interaction and allusions illustrated by short animated flash-backs, like visual hyper-links to ultra-short (yet illuminating) black-light black-out skits. (Obviously the Addams Academy 3 Dark team-mates are starting their morning stalk to meet-up with Shirley and the rest of the unit.) Merciless Pirate interlude & into the truck.

The greasy black fur-mitten Thang, shows up to quietly snuggle with Angelina. That's a good reminder of long-term projects the Academy 3 seem to have.

Ah, yes, the incisive interviews on the media about the ax-murdering political candidate - philosophy and constituency. You know America politics and media well.

False-alarm of the Albanian badger talking into his hands-free phone. Classic. The U of Minnesota neighborhood had a 'broadcaster' back in the late 1960s. He didn't need a phone though. Just giving a running replay vocalizing his surface thoughts, as he strode along on the sidewalks full of students.

Aha! The suburban shopping mall store, with the teen-age swan-girl clerk pushed against the ceiling by bizarre phenomena!
Now that, I'm sure, I've complemented you on this sequeince in comments before. (But I will continue anyway.) Very vivid, pleasantly pun-filled and an excellent sequence of the Unit actually working together to Get Things Done. And FORESHADOWING, with the elevator sorcerer! (Now having read Chaper 13, even more appreciated!

Babs & Buster in their multi-dimension - highly visual reminiscing about the on-location India toon-movie and the wall-images of multiple-posed avatars. More wacky toon-foreshadowing concerning their burrow home. Well-played.

Acme Looniversity's final day of term - Mortimer and Shelly in class. Memes and tropes defined. (Such as a schoolroom lamp-shade. 8) And such a well-developed concept of Shelly's home towns sloooowly sliding down into the subduction-zone, as new developments are constructed up-slope. 8) And then Shelly shares her life-cycle and the meme of adapting new ways of adapting to love Mortimer, her surface love. And there was Some Embarrassment... 8)

You are on a consistent roll. Well structured and entertaining with diverting (and punny) detailed bits.

Awesome story. :) Really love series of Tiny Toons stories you've made.

I'm looking forward to when Shirley's huge amount of bad karma catches up to her and she get's what she deserves.

When Shirley told her friend what she did to her egg I was half expecting someone like Fifi to slap her.
Karl Helm chapter 10 . 12/31/2015
I wonder who Roderick's significant other is/was/would be.
