First, I bet you won't believe it, but it was your authr's note that made me read this story. Particularly the bit about Sirius willfully doing what he did. To this day, it's something I can't understand nor forgive. I love your Dumbledore. He's great,'I've had better welcomes',lol. I'm not sure what I think about the boys' reaction. I can certainly imagine them thinking it was cool to have a werewolf for a friend. The only thing that makes me a bit hesitant is the fact that werewolf prejudice runs very deep, and James and Sirius, being raised as purebloods, certainly were exposed to the way werewolves are viewed by the rest of society. On the other hand, Remus is already their friend, and they are teenagers, and teenagers aren't known for thinking things through. I especially loved that Sirius got angry at Remus. I've always seen him as that kind of person who has,well, some anger issues. I also loved that you portray Remus as naturally quiet, because others simply think it was a consequence of his werewolf condition. I loved that he tried so hard to make them take his condition seriously. I'm not sure whether I'll finish the whole story, because I'm hard to please, but this first chapter was great, and I love your writing style a lot.

It is interesting seeing the descent into not only reading about dark magic but doing it.

This is probably one of my favorite chapters. Remus’ reaction is so intense. There is such raw emotion that you rarely see from him.

Great chapter! It was interesting seeing all sides and their thoughts. All of them were believable despite not always having the soundest of judgement.

I think this is the most realistic portrayal of Sirius during The Prank. Many times authors make him seem ignorant or careless but I agree with you that when Sirius was an adult he still didn’t have much remorse. It only stands to reason that he did it deliberately. If it had been a mistake he would have felt regret and horror for what he had done but he didn’t.

It’s interesting seeing where Sirius and James is at in their panic. It’s a pretty hopeless situation.

The line that Snape walks is really thin. It’s interesting seeing him try to defend both sides. It makes it hard to tell exactly what he believes in.

I’ve read many fics that have dealt with The Prank but this is so fresh and has a unique way of showing their panic as a group prior to Sirius trying to fix it himself.

This is my favorite chapter of the entire story because it perfectly displays the marauder’s foolhardiness and their cruelty.

I am in love with both Lily and Sirius blaming Remus over the same situation for entirely different reasons. His desire to be liked by everyone makes him hesitant. He tries to please everyone without taking sides and that backfires.

I loved seeing Snape and Lily’s relationship this chapter. I’m glad that it’s not black and white. Although they have differing opinions they still are friends at this point.

I am re-reading this story and I wanted to leave more reviews. I am excited by the two situations you chose for the opening chapter. It began with a bang!
