Reviews for the Trap
Aryndiel chapter 1 . 2/26/2016
Funny, and sweet, with wonderful characterization. Well done!
Sagethorn chapter 1 . 8/8/2015
Oh, I really like this, it's adorable! You did a great job with a very interesting prompt. You write all three of them very believable and in-character, and the way you describe their relationship is perfect. Such a sweet little story, I can't believe this doesn't have more reviews! :3
Tre Corde chapter 1 . 1/25/2015
I basically smiled my way through the entire thing. I loved the progression of their relationship, as France slowly stops becoming an object of contention and starts becoming something closer to a friend. There are so many lovely details, from references to other nations like Gaul and Rome and Hungary, to delightful little commentaries about the confusing nature of French women. And then there's the rambling songs and weed wreaths and chamber pot projectiles that had me snickering like mad.

Also, everyone is amazing in this. France, full of teasing ambiguity and airy frippery; Spain, endless endearing with all his clumsy earnestness; Prussia, bratty and graceless as always (the little booger). And then of course there's the tired dauphin and the uptight younger brother. xD

This story is at once hilarious and heartfelt, and does a splendid job at capturing the ridiculous charm of the trio's friendship. Thanks for sharing!
DGtnsl chapter 1 . 12/2/2014
That was awesome (almost as awesome as Prussia, but not quite *winkwink*). I liked how you examined they're friendship like that, with the wars as claiming each other and not trying to destroy each other. Twistedly romantic when you put it that way!
I loved Germany walking in and then out. He's taken up the role of annoyed-person-in-the-other-room the dauphin previously filled.
The Goliath Beetle chapter 1 . 8/7/2014
This is SO CUTE. I laughed so many times, and all the characters are spot-on. Adorable! The BTT are awesome, and you've written this awesomely. XDD
