though I found it a little rocky at first I've come to rather enjoy your story and I hope you plan to continue it. I look forward to reading more if you do.

I see your making the gender swap work but Jane wouldn't have a fifty pounds a year dowry if the estate was entitled away to pay off debts. Thats not realistic. And how is he suppose the support his sisters as a farming gentlemen if he is not to inherit the estate? But despite the parts that don't make sence in a story standpoint I enjoyed what I read of the first chapter. usually I'd wait to leave a review till I read the whole thing but I had to point them out. But I did enjoy seeing the similarities between the movie and your story.

Like the idea, but 'Bennet' seems quite feminine, you might like to rework Elizabeth' sentences from the original, not just take them verbatim.

I hate that D insulted E, but he has to be applauded for his due dilegance. The man is drowning in sorrow. While E refuses to throw him a life line. I guess he's lost her good opinion. I'd love to see some amiability pop up somewhere. D/E seem so miserable.
