You have a really wonderful style and your prose is gorgeous (I felt there was a run on sentence or two, but I can't really complain too much because the core writing is great, and do the same thing sometimes). There's this incredible poetic undertone that really adds to the moment instead of coming off as cheesy (bravo, you understand this better than some published authors in my opinion).

Also I really appreciate the fact that you write in the present tense. I don't know why, but a lot of people struggle with it or just simply forget it's an option. I think it gives a really nice vibe to your voice.

I look forward to your future works, as I am always a sucker for great imagery and symbolism used right in poetic pieces.
