Interesting take on P&P:) and i have to say that even most ardent purists would be very happy with your fantastical story! This is a different world and therefore different rules do apply, including acceptance of engineering education in females.
Lizzy dabbles in lots of things and i would not be surprised if she has a cache of money stashed with Gardiners to provide for her sisters and her in case of need.

don t let Elizabeth fall for Mr. Wickham. She can use one of her devices to find out the thruth about him.

I seem to have found a small mistake: Mr. Bingley says they are on their way to Netherfield to call on the Bennets. But the Bennets are living on Longbourn.
