Ok just a small comment. This chapter was Published: Aug 16, 2014 Updated: Jun 3, 2015, and at the end of it you said the next would be up shortly... it’s a little longer than short now.

I haven’t finished yet but... That was so beautiful.. T~T .. probably the most in a while on Merthur fan fictions... top five favorites! That magic sharing part and promising at the end and poor Merlin crying... so beautiful... can’t wait to read the next parts

lol...how about 5? No time like the present. Anyways, regardless of whether or not you choose to update, I feel it necessary to tell you how great this fic is and how much I appreciate you writing it.

This fic is interesting and lovely and captivating and...so many good things. I enjoyed this spin on the series. Merlin seems more powerful here and seems to really enjoy his life with the druids and Aithusa. If what I've come to suspect is right, seeing as Merlin is still a dragon lord, I suspect that he will use his time in the heart of Camelot to free Kilgharrah [if not then he definitely should].

This story is very well written and I really enjoyed the little things about it [you know, the details]. Arthur preferring to teach the kids, Arthur encouraging the kids, Mordred as a protector/camp defender, Merlin's laugh, Merlin's use of light as magic, magical grapes, and of course, The Window. Also, Lancelot and Will, though I'd prefer to see/hear more of Gwaine, and great job with incorporating Freya-I love her. The Morgana scene was lovely, as well; I also love the way you describe things, especially magic. The kids and how everyone accepted the Camelot knights and Arthur, and the ways that they spent time together were pure and utterly enjoyable. Your story has the ability to set an atmosphere and it did very well at that. This story is alive and is very spirited.

To sum it up, thank you for writing this. It is a great gift to the Merlin fandom. If you ever do decide to update, it'll be greatly appreciated (because better late than never), but still, thank you for writing this. You made something great. :)

I love this story so much. It was sent to me in the wee hours of dawn and I don’t regret the sleep that was lot over it.

Oh my God, WHY? HOW IS IT POSSIBLE THAT EVERY GREAT FIC I HAVE EVER READ HASN'T BEEN UPDATED SINCE AT LEAST 2016? AND WHY ARE THOSE FICS ALWAYS THOSE WITH THE WORST CLIFFHANGERS?

This was awesome. As always, it’s a shame that it wasn’t completed but still! I loved it!

Just letting you know, I am currently crying ugly sobs in a dark corner. I was at the end of chapter 10 and tried to press “Next” but it wasn’t there! I scrolled to the top and I saw “last updated: 2015.” Why cruel world?!
But anyways dramatics aside, congrats on the engagement and wedding! And I must say wonderful story, lovely plot, and absolutely gorgeous execution character development.
I hope to see an update email from you soon my dear, but until then I will continue to cry in my corner.
