Personally, the best part of this story is when Rocket tries to distract Tivan from Peter's genetics, even though the furry guardian is really annoyed by his compatriots by this point in the movie. I think that it was really sweet that he didn't want Peter to be stuck in a cage or whatever The Collector would have done to him.

I know that this is just a one-shot...but PLEASE find someway to continue this intriguing tale! For example, maybe somehow word is spread about Peter's rare hybrid DNA and other collectors and bounty hunters from all over the galaxy are now hot on his (and the other Guardians) trail.

I really like the way you captured the characters here, it's really well written! I'd definitely be interested in reading a continuation of this! Maybe with him rebuilding his menagerie after it's destruction with a truely unique individual? ;) I'll be waiting and watching if you do decide to write more! Thanks for this though.
