So I've decided to read all your naruto stories from the bottom up. and can I just say, this was a great start to my marathon of you.
But why on earth would Kiba ever do that? How stupid do you have to be to give up a chance at such a great girl? Stupid boy. Honestly I'll never understand why anyone would ever stand someone up... if you asked them out, then you owe it to both you and that person to actually go through with it! And if you really can't manage to muster up the balls to take her out, you at least call and give a GOOD excuse! It's just awful... I'd definitely have cried as much as Tenten.
Though I can't say I've ever had Ben and Jerry's... everyone always tells me I should try it, but it's soooo expensiiiiveeee. and I'm very cheap... So I doubt the dream will ever be realized. And see, even if I had a stellar coupon, I'd be afraid of getting hooked on something I could never have again. It's like going out of your way to fall in love with a man who you know is going to die in a week. So until I meet and marry Hunter Hayes (or me and you really do get married and you agree to support my impending addiction) I just shall not know the wonders that is Ben and Jerry's... But hey, there's always Dairy Queen blizzards. That's like the same thing, right?
Oh and I've gotta mention, I loved the musing that Neji hadn't seen a mess before. It's just really funny to picture. I really love your anal comments about him. To discuss characterization again, most people write Neji to be a near identical replica to Sasuke... I mean, I get it. They have similarities and Sasuke has been given more chances to show all the little bits and pieces of his personality. But you don't make them the same person. Neji is polite, realistic, and in no way shape or form resents the concept of love. But Sasuke is so rash, so rude, so disillusioned, so out of touch... they're completely different. Just because they're both quiet and amazing at Ninja-ness, doesn't mean they have the same feelings and attitudes. Keep in mind, I do like Sasuke. to an extent. I don't dislike him, at least. So I'm not bashing him or anything...

I think it's pretty cute. I agree with the last comment - Neji does seem a little OOC. But I like that you tried something new. You should turn this into an actual story because I'm dying to know what happens next!

Are you going to continue this? I think it would be great I you showed Kiba asking her out and he preparing for the date and then show her on her dinner with Neji. I do have to say though I feel it is a little OOC but then again I am not an expert in writing either character and each author should be able to accentuate certain aspects in their personalities (in your case Neji is more verbal and 'passionate'). I like a confident Tenten too! Can't wait to see more!
