I am flashed! I recently watched Mulan and searched for a FF. I stumbled across this gem of a Mulan story! The details in the story, the fleshed out characters and the balance between action and character development are superb! I love how much love and background research was put into this series. Kudos.

For all Mulan fans, look forward to the Disney life action movie next year!

I forgot to put the name hahaha on that long anonymous sentence of me telling you how much i love your work and me been a detail person lol but i am been called kotaro among a story I am writing in episode choose your story. Just found out of fanction and i am glad i found it because i like stories like this that we want to see ehat happens if its the other way from the movie etc...why was i here again oh yeah hahah...I love it from hachin to the next hachin and now dragon and horses I wont lie i am a person that loves details on everything...EVERYTHING (shan-yu and Mulan in bed for example) but I LOVE it anyway how you put it and you got me by surprise on some situation that I kept telling myself "i won't read it" or "are you serious, why!" But I just couldn't stop reading, I am a little sad that zhu and zaya are in that situation but I know it will come to something you will be doing that Will make my jaw drop like the others two stories anyway i can't wait to see more. So very much worth the wait, thank you for picking this up again. Also, great chapter. Mongol royal family drama :p

A nice chapter- one which shows the character dynamics nicely. Your version of Mulan is as tasteful as ever, the childrens struggles are apparent (And I like the clash between the more martial minded daughter and wiser son) and the upcoming war sounds fun. But as you say- no need to rush to it. All good rides need a build up and ride up before things start to plummet.
