love that they told the gang right away at the Old Haunt. I never liked that Beckett kept the news from Lanie in the show. Plus I always enjoy when Lanie and Martha step in to help them get together.

wow, just read the last two reviews and I think they were a little harsh. so I'm going to chime in here with a positive review or three so that when you reach 500 reviews you feel good about all the hard work you put in writing this terrific story.
I always wonder why someone as smart as Castle jumps to the conclusion that Beckett doesn't/will never love him. Doesn't he see the way she looks at him? I get that it was a plot device for the show and many a fan fic, but all I can say is he's a dope. That said, I like your premise of Beckett winning him back one text at a time. I'm looking forward to the second half of this story.

The problem with you guys is that you give Castle hell when he done something wrong but not when Beckett done something wrong and she get to have her way easily like in this crap story where she gets to him talking to her again by sending some messages. You guys don't respect the character which they deserve and just have made little Katie Beckett the goddess of all. Where she doesn't have to put much effort into anything and always ready to give crappy excuses of her mother's death.

Beckett is a hypocrite. She made the mistake but she still doesn't go after him to prove that he is worth it but no she still waiting for him to come to her by sending silly messages. It shows how cheap she thinks of Castle and his love, at least she could have done to go Castle and apologize to him in person which should have been sincere and should have given him space. But no she is too proud to ask for forgiveness by saying sincerest apologies. Compulsive lying hypocrite.
Sorry for the rant but she always took him for granted in season 4,5 and 8.

It was really good. It is always nice to read a story where Beckett must repair some damage
