I... have nothing bad to say about this. This is beautiful, and so artistically written. I love how much elvish you weave into it. I love the precise amount of emotion you included. This is close to perfect.

One of the best Lord of the rings fanfiction I've read. The characterization were well executed and the tone was very engaging. I'm glad that you wrote this! One of my biggest complaints with the book and movie is the lack of father son moments between Thranduil and Legolas, but this piece feels like a special extended scene or a bonus chapter. A nice addition to my favorites collection.

Really my only criticism is your summary. Never write, "I suck at summaries". It is an immediate turn-off, and I nearly passed this story by. I'm glad that I didn't! Firstly, because I got a lovely read, and secondly I get the opportunity to point this out to you. Don't ever sell yourself short.

This was one of the most precious fan written scenes between thranduil and legolas tht I hae ever had the pleasure of reading. It takes a lot to get me to cry, and, I read this and my eyes reared up. This was beautiful and the characters were accurately portrayed making it even more heartwarming/breaking.
