I love this! beautiful heartbroken Vala and confused sweet Daniel

Oh my goodness. This was a little dark wasn't it?
I rather liked it. I love angst(y)-romance from these pair rather than the fluffy romance.
And especially when there's rip roaring bodice-ripping sex scenes, too. I loved this side to DVala. I look forwards to more postings from you!

This is excellent. You did a great job of capturing Daniel's confusion when faced with human interaction that includes himself - as Vala said, he's better at studying dead civilizations than live people. I also loved Vala's exhausted honesty, too tired to put on any more masks or accept something from Daniel, even if it's something close to what she wants but not the real thing.
