I'm sort of on and off with ShinKai. I actually don't mind it and will ship it but I don't actively seek it out so it's a real treat to get something like this.

I love how Shinichi is shown to be a good actor in this. In all honesty, he really should be if you consider his mom and he is... sometimes. In canon he's either as good of an actor as I would expect or he's so hilariously bad that it's both impossible and attention getting. He's more likely to be found out if he acts the way he does sometimes.

Anyways, I loved this. The notes at the end were cute. I do at least ship ShinKai a lot more than ShinRan but that might just be me and my friend.

Anyways great job! I can't write comedy at all so I'm super impressed! :)

Shinichi and Kaito messing with people is fun. I've long adored the idea of Shinichi deliberately showing up all disheveled and Kaito-like on purpose, just to see if anyone noticed he /isn't/ Kaito before Kaito shows up and flails at him. Or rolls with it. Depends on how likely Kaito would believe it of him prior to the event.
Also, if he genuinely flails, Shinichi-Kaito could flail right back, especially if they had walked in talking separately to Aoko and Hakuba, the two most likely to spot a fake. See how long he can get away with it, or how long it takes Kaito to figure it out, or calm down, depending on his purpose.
