the first chapter had me chuckling, the second made me fall off my bed I was laughing so hard, awesome work

The first chapter was a riot all the way through. Overall, pretty funny.

Then this chapter I was like "huh, Ruby's being OOC but it's really entertaining. Then Ironwood stepped in and I had to laugh. From there, the whole exchange was hilarious. Nice job!

Both this and the second chapter, these snippets are fantastic and are in fact single-handedly responsible for making me give RWBY a second chance - I'd been dissuaded by the second episode, originally, but I'm glad I gave it another try.

Cinder's plan has...issues. Properly villainous, and if you accept the story principle of 'disguises work' it kind of works out - but this, and the masquerade failure, are joys to read. And on rereading I'm giggling all over again.

Why am I reviewing an old chapter like this, though? Because this snippet in particular has ruined season three for my wife and I - in a good way, but ruined all the same. Because now, for all her villainy, for all her thieving, for all the sinister promise that RWBY gives us for Emerald...we can no longer see her on screen without thinking "WHY NO DRESS FOR EMERALD?!"

So, congratulations. This headcanon has triumphed.
