i cannot with the fact that this was written before 4B even started, and somehow it is so reminiscent of killian's struggle to forgive himself during 5B. i swear the show's portrayal of CS is so ff heavy

Aw, the nightmares! But Emma is there to help Killian out of it. And he's there for her fears. And they make it through alive. Thanks so much for this! A completely different take on season 4 and I love it!

So I'm reading this in the middle of class (shhh, don't tell anyone) and I love the role reversal. I'm seriously crying, what are you doing to me? I love how both Emma and Killian had their own little confirmation of True Love, Emma with getting Killan's memories back and Killian with removing the link. And the self-loathing that Killian felt because it was him the entire time, but I love how everyone knows it wasn't him and forgives him. It's just him that needs to see it now. And I love how Emma saw what was really going on and helped out some. And they love each other and they finally made time to sleep together! I'm glad that it wasn't brushed over, it was just great!

Oh, my god, that was good. Angsty as hell, but so smart. The Snow Queen binding her to Emma and now Killian remembers it all! Gosh, I'm crying and why does it have to be bed time right now! I can't leave my poor babies like this! I thought Regina and Gold were supposed to show up!

I really like where this is going. And I love how even though Killian has the glass in his heart, contorting his view of everything, Emma still has a profound effect on him and he managed to save her. I was hoping he'd find a way to do both, and it's a good thing he ran into Henry along the way! And now he knows what's actually wrong with him and he had little flashed of his memories!

Oh, Belle found out what's wrong and man, it hurts. And Killian and Emma fight-talking and revealing more about their feelings at this time. Emma loves him and she knows he deserves better and Killian doesn't know how to feel. I love how Emma found a new resolve to fight for Killian, though I wonder that when the curse on Killian breaks, will she try to push him away again because she thinks he deserves better or that she's not enough because she didn't fight hard enough for him? I wonder what the Snow Queen did now!

Ooh, Killian's a double spy, it seems! And Emma used the "try something new" line! And Henry is being all over-protective and David reminding Emma that she shouldn't give up on Killian, because he never did. And Belle wanting to help out with Killian and all of his friends that have seen his change know that this isn't him and aren't holding it against him. But when Killian gets his memories back, he's going to be filled with self-loathing, isn't he? This is so much fun and I'm really enjoying this!

God, that was amazing. And the angst! Killian doesn't remember who Emma is and he's different. He was never this callous when they first met and the last encounter with Emma really struck a chord in him. And he was the target all along of the glass shard and what could the Snow Queen have to do with Elsa? I'm so excited to see what happens next!

Wow! And Killian blocking the ice shard from reaching Emma and taking the hit himself! If it was supposed to hit Emma, that means she probably would've lost all memory of Storybrooke, too, huh? I wonder how deep Killian's memory loss is!

Normally I'd write something simple in reviews but this deserves so much more. First of all, I don't think I have read something with your style of writing. I can clearly picture the characters saying something like the dialogue you had. Second of all, it was so interesting how you described thier thoughts and feelings. You are truly an amazing writer and you have a talent that will get you far. Keep writing!

This story! I gotta tell you it was amazing. It was a wonderful read. I feel like you captured Emma and Killian so well, and of course had the added challenge of making him much crueler than he'd ever been when it came to Emma. Though he did fight those feelings. I loved that it went deeper than just taking his memories, and all the angst it inflicted on Emma.

Very well done. It was a fantastic story!
