   indeeVoid chapter 45 . 4/16 Good story. Definitely deserves its place on the r/httyd recommended fanfic list. Grammer sometimes leaves a little to be desired and I feel that Hiccup behaves a little OOC (pun intended?) but I don't know how he could've been written differently so that the plot can happen. I don't think he should've been so complacent in the first parts of the story with all the things that were just happening to and around him. It seems like there's two different dragon!Hiccup's: animalistic and intelligent. Animalistic!Hiccup is especially seen in his interaction with Stormfly and intelligent!Hiccup is seen after he leaves the island. Is that like him slowly getting his mind back or something? I like the buildup in Toothless' realizations. It's gradual, which is nice. |
